Get to Know Dr. Fernanda Mendoza
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Fernanda Mendoza was born in El Paso, TX and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico with her parents and brothers. She earned a Biochemistry degree from University of Texas in Austin to then return to El Paso as an auxiliary assistant in a pediatric dental office where she reaffirmed her passion for dentistry.
Fernanda then moved to NYC and became a DDS from NYU Dentistry in 2022. In dental school, she was a leader in the Hispanic Dental Association and always showed interest in children care through her research at the Honors Program.
In 2024, Dr. Fer pursued advanced training in pediatric dentistry at NYU, where she focused on treating underserved communities and providing the best dental care for every kid.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of the clinic, our proud Mexican American Doctor enjoys trying new restaurants with her friends, swimming like her golden high school era, and laughing at her husband Gustavo jokes.
